Symptoms of hyperlipidemia

Hyperlipidemia is a medical condition characterized by elevated levels of lipids (fats) in the blood, including cholesterol and triglycerides. Numbness and Tingling: Elevated levels of lipids in the blood can cause peripheral neuropathy, a condition that affects the nerves in the hands and feet. This can cause numbness, tingling, or burning sensations in the extremities.

Fatigue: People with hyperlipidemia may experience fatigue or weakness due to the buildup of fatty deposits in the arteries, which can restrict blood flow to the muscles and other organs.

Skin Problems: Elevated levels of lipids in the blood can cause skin problems such as xanthomas, which are yellowish-white fatty deposits that form on the skin around the eyes, elbows, knees, and other areas.

Vision Problems: High levels of cholesterol can also cause vision problems such as blurred vision or double vision, which can be a sign of an underlying eye condition or damage to the blood vessels that supply the eyes.
